I have no idea if anyone else who has watched Steven Universe has noticed it yet, but the gangs house has FIVE gems on it, not four! That means theres another gem guardian in the mix! HMMMM. 

THE ANTI-GARNET

What I find interesting is that Garnet has gems on both hands and they’re the same color so i don’t know what’s going on there. Also another thing I found interesting about it is that in that opening when we first see Garnet she has like these 2 hunk of gems or whatever beside her, one is the color she has and the other one is the color of the other gem on the other hand. Very interesting indeed.

Woman Time Lords can control the way they will look when they regenerate, while male Time Lords cannot. This was established in Classic Who, when Romana regenerated.

Also, the Doctor wanting to be Ginger is not about the hair color. In Gallifrey, the only ones to have red hair were the people called Heroes which were beings who were time-sentient (meaning they could see all of the time at the same time). So I doubt they will ever make him ginger.

Rebecca Sugar’s Steven Universe Pilot!

Notes on this short:

• The characters feel very realistic, as do their relationships. The only unrealistic element is Lars, and he has the girl next to him as a realistic counter-character.
• This is perhaps the only show on CN right now where we will see girls get beaten up on the same level as boys. Adventure Time has its moments but usually they’re tiny.
• The art style is very much Rebecca’s, as the characters smile and such in the way she draws even compared to her Adventure Time expressions.
• Even though Lars isn’t realistic in personality, for the first time he doesn’t have a position of power or status above the character he teases - he is an underdog, an underdog jerk, which is extremely rare on cartoons where jerks tend to be in better social positions.
